About Thunderdome

Thunderdome now takes place at the Jaarbeurs Utrecht, attracting an impressive 50,000 visitors per edition. The festival is known for its hard kicks, iconic logo, and legendary atmosphere that draws gabbers from all over the world to the Netherlands.

The first edition in 1992 started with four DJs: DJ Dano, DJ The Prophet, DJ Gizmo, and DJ Buzz Fuzz, also known as The Dreamteam. The success of Thunderdome led to the creation of other hardcore parties like Hellraiser, A Nightmare in Rotterdam, Masters of Hardcore, and Hellbound.

Thunderdome has hosted sets from legendary hardcore DJs like Angerfist, Miss K8, Tha Playah, Nosferatu, Evil Activities, Neophyte, Paul Elstak, Partyraiser, Dr. Peacock, and countless other hardcore pioneers who shaped the scene.
