JOY organizes several editions throughout the year at various iconic locations. In the summer, the JOY Bloemendaal editions take place at Bronze Beach on Bloemendaal's beach. There are also regular events at the Gashouder Amsterdam , Het Klokgebouw Eindhoven , and Het Sierraad Amsterdam .

JOY has hosted sets from top acts like Franky Rizardo, Benny Rodrigues, Michel de Hey, Joris Voorn, Solomun, Tale of Us, Adriatique, Stephan Bodzin, and countless other techno and melodic house DJs. The events are known for their perfect balance between underground techno and accessible melodic house.
